What is Kiwanis?
Kiwanis is an international organization dedicated to helping their communities, mainly focusing on children. They strive to change the world one child and one community at a time. A Kiwanis Club will often sponsor another part of the K family, K-Kids (Elementary), Builder's Club (Jr. High), Key Club (High School), Circle K International/CKI (College), or Aktion Club (for adults living with disabilities). What are the objects of Key Club International?
To develop initiative and leadership
To provide experience in living and working together
To serve the school and community
To cooperate with the school principal
To prepare for useful citizenship
To accept and promote the following ideas:
-To give primacy to the human and spiritual, rather than to the material values of life
-To encourage the daily living of the Golden Rule in all human relationships
-To promote the adoption and application of higher standards in scholarship, sportsmanship and
-To develop, by precept and example, a more intelligent, aggressive and serviceable citizenship
-To provide a practical means to form enduring friendships, to render unselfish service and to
build better communities
-To cooperate in creating and maintaining that sound public opinion and high idealism which makes
possible the increase of righteousness, justice, patriotism and good will

And combat all forces which tend to undermine these institutions
How do I get a stole?
You can earn a stole for graduation as a senior. In order to do so you must:
How many hours do I need?
You need 25 hours per semester, adding up to a total of 50 hours for the year
How do I get hours?
Participating in events
Participate in fundraising or material drives
Going to meetings and wearing your key club shirt
Promoting school spirit by attending athletic events
