What is Key Club?

         Key Club is an international student-led organization which provides it’s members with opportunities to provide service, build character and develop leadership. The club is run by officers and funded by dues paid by members. Our motto “Caring, Our Way of Life” describes the sole purpose of our club, to help and serve our schools and communities in order to make the world a better place.

What is Kiwanis?

   Kiwanis is an international organization dedicated to helping their communities, mainly focusing on children. They strive to change the world one child and one community at a time. A Kiwanis Club will often sponsor another part of the K family, K-Kids (Elementary), Builder's Club (Jr. High), Key Club (High School), Circle K International/CKI (College), or Aktion Club (for adults living with disabilities). What are the objects of Key Club International?

To develop initiative and leadership

To provide experience in living and working together

To serve the school and community

To cooperate with the school principal

To prepare for useful citizenship

To accept and promote the following ideas:

   -To give primacy to the human and spiritual, rather than to the material values of life

   -To encourage the daily living of the Golden Rule in all human relationships

   -To promote the adoption and application of higher standards in scholarship, sportsmanship and

    social contacts

   -To develop, by precept and example, a more intelligent, aggressive and serviceable citizenship

   -To provide a practical means to form enduring friendships, to render unselfish service and to 

    build better communities

   -To cooperate in creating and maintaining that sound public opinion and high idealism which makes

    possible the increase of righteousness, justice, patriotism and good will

I pledge, on my honor,

To uphold the objects of Key Club International;

To build my home, school, and community;

To serve my nation and God;

And combat all forces which tend to undermine these institutions


How do I get a stole?


You can earn a stole for graduation as a senior. In order to do so you must:

    -Be a member your senior year
    -Have a total of 100 hours (these hours can come from more than just your senior year but 50 of them must be from that year)
    -Know the Key Club pledge
    -Have 1 letter of recommendation


How many hours do I need?


You need 25 hours per semester, adding up to a total of 50 hours for the year

How do I get hours?


Participating in events

Participate in fundraising or material drives

Going to meetings and wearing your key club shirt

Promoting school spirit by attending athletic events
